Witricity
Witricity stands for wireless electricity.Yes the modern world is getting rid of the complicated wires and cable for the power transfer and the wireless electric world is coming into existence.It uses the principle of coupled resonant objects(resonating magnetic field) to transfer wireless electricity.It requires a transmitter as well as a receiver for transmission.The inventors of the witricty is from Massachusetts Institute of Technology ,the prime experiment was ligting up a bulb which was at a distance of seven feet a from the source using a transmitter and receiver.
The experiment got its spark from the idea that it would be more easy if we could charge mobile phones without a charger, one of the master brain behind this experiment Prof. Marin Soljacic was the first to struck with this idea of wireless electricity transmission.Witricity finds a lot of application in the modern world, its not far that we could see a world without wires.
